On Saturday, March 15, former Bay Port High School standout Carl Cano’s current college team, the St. Thomas Tommies, won 4-3 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Omaha Mavericks.

The game took place at Tal Anderson Field. This was their second matchup against the Mavericks this season.

The Tommies’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 16 at 1 p.m. at Tal Anderson Field against Omaha Mavericks.
