The Green Bay Packers have announced the addition of 15 new coaches as part of the NFL's Bill Walsh Diversity Coaching Fellowship. Head Coach Matt LaFleur made this announcement on Wednesday.

On the defensive side, former Packers safeties Morgan Burnett and Nick Collins are among those joining. They are joined by former NFL defensive lineman Jason Hatcher, Asa Jackson, Josh Jones, Larry Knight, and Shea Pitts. Notably, Pitts has a family history with the Packers through his father Ron and grandfather Elijah.

The offensive coaching staff will see new faces such as Ryan Alexander, Jeff Beckles, Mike Brown, Caleb Moore, and Grant Newsome. The strength and conditioning team will be assisted by Ike Brown, Leo Liu, and Gary Wilkins.

Moore along with Ike and Mike Brown have previously participated in this program with the Packers.

In recent years, Green Bay has transitioned four previous Bill Walsh interns to full-time coaching roles: Anthony Perkins, Myles White, Cory Harkey, and Jeremiah Kolone.

The Bill Walsh Diversity Coaching Fellowship aims to increase minority representation among full-time NFL coaches. It provides opportunities for talented coaches to engage in offseason programs and minicamps to gain experience towards securing full-time positions in the league.
