The Green Bay Packers have announced several changes within their player personnel department. General Manager Brian Gutekunst made the announcements on Wednesday.

Mike Owen has been promoted to national scout. Owen, who joined the Packers in 2012 as a college scout, is entering his 14th season with the team. Before joining Green Bay, he was an assistant coach at Riverhead High School in New York, where he coached tight ends and assisted with linebackers. Owen played at Syracuse University from 2006 to 2009 and served as a team captain during his senior year.

Daric Whipple has been elevated to pro scout after serving as a scouting assistant since 2023. Whipple began his tenure with the Packers' personnel department as an intern in 2022. He played wide receiver for Iowa State University and Northern Iowa University between 2016 and 2022.

Sam Fleming has also been promoted to pro scout after working as a scouting assistant since June 2024. Fleming initially joined the Packers as a scouting intern during the 2023 training camp. His previous experience includes working for National Football Scouting in Indianapolis from 2021 to 2024 and various roles at Samford University.

Connor Koch will now serve as an area scout for the Northeast region after working as a scouting intern last season. Before joining the Packers, Koch held positions in player personnel and recruiting at several universities, including Alabama Birmingham and Samford University.

Dan Zegers returns to the Packers as scouting coordinator. Zegers started with Green Bay at age 14 as an equipment assistant and later worked in their scouting department until 2013. He rejoins after stints with the Cleveland Browns and Kansas City Chiefs in various personnel roles.
