There were 2,079 students enrolled in Shawano School District in the 2024-25 school year, 3.6% less than the previous year, according to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2024-25 school year, 51.8% identified themselves as boys, 48.2% as girls.

Data also shows that most of the students were white, accounting for 57.3% of the Shawano School District total enrollment.

Shawano School District covers five schools within Shawano County, with its main office in Shawano.

Among the five schools in the district, Shawano High School recorded the highest enrollment of 702 students in the 2024-25 school year.

Wisconsin had a student-to-teacher ratio of 14-to-1 in 2025, lower than the national average of 16-to-1, according to Public School Review.
