The Green Bay Packers have signed defensive lineman Devonte O'Malley and defensive back Jaylin Simpson, while releasing cornerback Garnett Hollis Jr. and waiving/injuring defensive lineman Keith Randolph. The announcement was made Monday by General Manager Brian Gutekunst.

O'Malley, who stands 6-foot-3 and weighs 284 pounds, is a rookie from Northern Illinois. He was first signed as an undrafted free agent by the Tennessee Titans on May 9 but was released on August 3. During his college career with the Huskies from 2020 to 2024, O'Malley played in 58 games with 46 starts, totaling 130 tackles (69 solo), 30 tackles for loss, and 22.5 sacks. He also recorded an interception, two passes defensed, four forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries. O'Malley ranks sixth in career sacks at NIU. In his final season, he received honorable mention All-America honors from Phil Steele's College Football and was named first-team All-MAC. He will wear No. 69 for Green Bay.

Simpson is a first-year player who was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the fifth round of the 2024 NFL Draft out of Auburn University. He spent his rookie season on the Colts' practice squad before joining the New York Jets' active roster late in the year but did not play in any games over the last four weeks of the season. At Auburn, Simpson appeared in 47 games with 23 starts and earned second-team All-SEC recognition in 2023. He will wear No. 38 for the Packers.
