The City of Green Bay has announced recent upgrades to Farlin Park and the ongoing Grooves on the Green summer concert series. The improvements at Farlin Park include a new playground, splash pad, upgraded basketball courts, and enhanced gathering spaces designed for community use.
City staff and residents attended a Grooves on the Green concert at Farlin Park on Friday evening. Families made use of the new park features while local musicians performed.
“These improvements make Farlin Park a true neighborhood destination,” said Michael Bergman, Communications Director for the City of Green Bay. “We want to invite all residents to experience the refreshed park and join us for upcoming Grooves on the Green concerts.”
The city will continue hosting concerts as part of its summer series. The next event is scheduled for September 5 at He-Nis-Ra Park with Zoomie & The Soniks performing at 7:00 p.m. The final concert will feature Dale Anderson of The Delta Jets on September 19 at Colburn Park, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Media representatives are encouraged to review a digital press kit containing photos and a factsheet about the recent improvements.
