The Green Bay Packers have acquired offensive lineman Darian Kinnard from the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for a 2027 sixth-round draft pick. The team also announced the release of wide receiver Kawaan Baker. General Manager Brian Gutekunst made the announcement on Monday.
Kinnard, who stands 6-foot-5 and weighs 322 pounds, is entering his third year in the NFL. He was originally selected by the Kansas City Chiefs as the 145th overall pick in the fifth round of the 2022 NFL Draft. After spending two seasons with Kansas City, he joined the Eagles in 2024.
During his career, Kinnard has played in three regular season games and made one start. He has been part of teams that won three consecutive Super Bowls: with Kansas City for Super Bowls LVII and LVIII, and with Philadelphia for Super Bowl LIX.
Kinnard played college football at Kentucky from 2018 to 2021, appearing in 46 games with 39 starts. In his final season, he earned consensus first-team All-America honors and became only the twelfth player in Kentucky program history to achieve this recognition. He will wear No. 70 for Green Bay.
