Rep. Tony Wied, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives and part of the House Agriculture Committee, recently shared updates on his work with Wisconsin's agricultural community and commented on judicial accountability through a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter).
On August 26, 2025, Wied posted about a meeting at Jauquet's Hillview Dairy to address farmers' concerns: "I had another productive meeting at Jauquet's Hillview Dairy to discuss the issues facing our great farmers and how I can continue to help deliver solutions for them in Washington.
As a proud member of @HouseAgGOP I will always ensure that our farmers have the support they need".
The following day, August 27, 2025, Wied detailed a visit to AgroPur in Luxemburg alongside representatives from several agricultural organizations: "Yesterday, I had the opportunity to tour AgroPur in Luxemburg along with members of Voice of Milk, Dairy Business Association, and the Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation.
I got a firsthand look at the great cheese making being done there and learned more about their important".
Later that same day, Wied addressed an issue involving Judge Dugan: "This is 100% the right decision.
I have said from the very beginning that nobody is above the law.
Judge Dugan needs to be held accountable for using her position to protect an illegal alien over law-abiding citizens."
Wied represents Wisconsin after winning election in 2024 against Kristin Lyerly by securing approximately 57% of the vote. He has positioned himself as an advocate for local agriculture and emphasizes legal accountability among public officials.
