The Green Bay Packers have opened nominations for their High School Coach of the Week program, which highlights one Wisconsin high school football coach each week during the 2025 season. The initiative is designed to honor coaches who make significant contributions on the field or within their communities.

Each weekly honoree will receive a $1,000 donation for their school's football program, provided by the Packers and the NFL. In addition to the monetary award, selected coaches will be recognized on packers.com, boundwisconsin.com, wifca.org, and in the Packers Gameday program.

Nominees are considered based on their ability to positively influence players, families, and communities. Coaches can be nominated for turning around programs or making an impact beyond football.

At the end of the season, one coach will be named WFCA/Green Bay Packers High School Football Coach of the Year by the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association. This individual will receive a $2,000 donation for their football program. Both weekly honorees and the Coach of the Year will be recognized at Lambeau Field during the Week 14 Packers-Bears game in December.

"We're proud to recognize the hard work of high school football coaches through the Packers Coach of the Week program," said Packers football outreach coordinator Jake Krueger. "The influence of a good coach extends far beyond the game, helping to shape athletes into leaders who carry the values of teamwork, discipline and service into their communities."

Nominations must be submitted by 10 a.m. each Monday via email to Jake Krueger at coachoftheweek@packers.com. Submissions should include contact information and reasons why the nominee deserves recognition. The first honoree will be announced during the week of September 15.
