It’s “Mail It Monday!”
(Green Bay, WI) The City of Green Bay is asking voters who are confident of their ballot choices to get them in early. “For those who will be mailing their ballot, we urge you to mail it today,” said Celestine Jeffreys, Chief of Staff.
“We’re calling October 19th Mail It Monday,” said Jeffreys. “COVID-19 has made this election different, and we need voters to help us flatten the ballot curve by returning their ballot early if they’ve already made their choices. We also have six ballot drop boxes in convenient locations for anyone who wants to drop off their ballot. These drop boxes are very safe and secure and the ballots are picked up daily,” she said.
Jeffreys said Green Bay voters who need more help can find voter guides, drop box locations, early in-person absentee voting hours and polling locations on the City’s website www.greenbaywi.gov/elections. Questions can be directed to one of the Voter Navigators by emailing vote@greenbaywi.gov or calling 920-448-3010. She said for voters who still want to request a mail ballot, it’s getting late, but they can still do so by going to www.myvote.wi.gov. Click on “vote absentee,” then enter your first name, last name and date of birth, and follow the instructions.
