Real estate developmental company Together We Grown is ready to break ground on a $59 million project designed for mixed-income families.
Known as The Fort at the Railyard, the project marks TWG's eighth affordable housing project and its second in the Green Bay area.
“We are excited to renew construction efforts on The Fort and offer opportunities for affordable housing to those who need it most,” Development Director Graham Parr said to NBC26.com. “We are grateful to continue to have an impact on the local community and strengthen our presence in the Green Bay area.”
The structure, located at 419 Donald Driver Way, near Leicht Memorial Park, will contain 223 units, five stories, and sit on 1,300 square feet of commercial space. Expected to be completed by 2024, 187 of the units will be reserved as affordable housing units for residents earning up to 60% of the area median income, while the remaining 46 will be available at market price. Added amenities are slated to feature a gym, business center, indoor pet washing areas and a community lounge.
TWG was founded in 2007 and is now headquartered in Indianapolis. The company has expanded to 15 states since opening its doors and specializes in commercial, market rate, affordable and senior housing.
On its website, the company claims to have constructed more than 9,000 units and transacted through more than $1.5 billion in project costs.
