Packers announce schedule for public practices during training camp

The Green Bay Packers have announced the dates for their 2024 Training Camp, presented by Bellin Health. This year marks the 79th training camp for the team, a tradition that began in 1946 under Curly Lambeau. Practices will be held at Ray Nitschke Field, with Packers Family Night scheduled to take place at Lambeau Field.

Training camp will commence on Monday, July 22, with a practice session at 10:30 a.m., followed by the Annual Meeting of Shareholders at 3 p.m. The first eight open practices will occur over ten days to close out July (23-24, 26-28, 30-31). August will begin with an open practice on the 1st before Family Night on Saturday, Aug. 3.

Following Family Night, two more open practices are scheduled for Aug. 6-7 before the team travels to Cleveland for their first preseason game against the Browns on Aug. 10 at 3:25 p.m. CT. Upon returning home, Green Bay will hold two additional open practices (Aug. 13-14) before heading to Denver for a joint practice on Aug. 16 and a game against the Broncos on Aug. 18 at 7 p.m. CT.

The final open sessions of training camp include an open practice on Aug. 20 and an open joint practice against Baltimore on Aug. 22 before facing the Ravens at Lambeau Field on Aug. 24 at noon.

In case of inclement weather or other factors necessitating indoor practices, sessions will be closed to the public due to space limitations inside the Don Hutson Center.

Packers Family Night is set for Saturday evening, Aug. 3, featuring a full practice session aimed at preparing for the regular season within a family-focused environment that includes various activities and giveaways courtesy of Bellin Health and other sponsors.

Tickets for Family Night go on sale Wednesday, June 26, priced at $10 each and available exclusively online through Ticketmaster.com with mobile-only ticketing in effect this year.

The Packers' home preseason game against Baltimore is scheduled for Aug. 24 and is designated as the Packers Give Back Game, highlighting a benefiting charity through game-related activities.

Key dates leading up to and during training camp include:

- Wednesday, July 17 – Quarterbacks, rookies and injured players report

- Friday, July 19 – Packers Kids Run presented by Scheels

- Saturday, July 20 – Packers Run/Walk presented by Bellin Health

- Sunday, July 21 – Veteran players report

- Monday, July 22 – First practice and Annual Meeting of Shareholders

- Thursday, Aug.22 – Last public practice (joint session with Baltimore)

According to Discover Green Bay and a study by AECOM from2010 , training camp along with Packers Family Night could attract approximately80 ,000 visitors from across the nation and up to20 foreign countries , generating an estimated economic impact of around$9 million .

The American Family Insurance DreamDrive bike tradition will continue this year , inviting kids to bring their bikes each day to offer players rides from Lambeau Field to Ray Nitschke Field . Additional fan activities such as Bellin Bike Rodeo , free bike helmet giveaway ,and Bellin Training Camp Village will also be part of this year's events .
