The Green Bay Packers and Sargento, the Official Cheese of the Packers, are renewing their Touchdowns for Hunger effort for its 22nd season to support families in Wisconsin.

Under the Touchdowns for Hunger™ program, Sargento will donate $2,000 for every touchdown scored by the Packers during the regular season.

"For more than two decades, our partnership with the Packers has made a difference in our community. While we're incredibly proud to be the Official Cheese of the Green Bay Packers, we're even more proud of the real impact we're making in our community through Touchdowns for Hunger. We look forward to another year of rooting for the Green and Gold while helping alleviate hunger and food insecurity for Wisconsin families," said Louie Gentine, 3rd Generation Chairman and CEO of Sargento Foods.

Donations from Sargento will be distributed between Hunger Task Force in Milwaukee and Paul’s Pantry in Green Bay. Last season, with 51 touchdowns scored by the Packers during both regular and postseason games, a total donation of $102,000 was made.

Since its inception in 2002, Touchdowns for Hunger™ has raised over $1.85 million to combat hunger in Wisconsin and has provided more than one million meals to families in need.
