The Green Bay Packers have made roster changes, as announced by General Manager Brian Gutekunst. Tight end Luke Musgrave has been placed on injured reserve. In response, the team has signed tight end John FitzPatrick from the Atlanta Falcons' practice squad to their active roster.

FitzPatrick is a third-year player who was initially drafted by the Falcons in 2022. During his time with Atlanta, he participated in nine games and achieved one reception for 12 yards. His college career at the University of Georgia saw him play in 38 games with 13 starts, accumulating 17 receptions for 200 yards and scoring one touchdown. FitzPatrick will now don jersey No. 86 with the Packers.

Additionally, Messiah Swinson, currently on Green Bay's practice squad, will change his jersey number to No. 48.
