The Green Bay Packers and Sargento Foods collaborated on Tuesday for a day of action at Paul's Pantry. This event was part of the ongoing Sargento Touchdowns for Hunger™ program, which aims to support local communities by providing food to those in need.

Employees from both organizations gathered to sort donations and repackage bulk items for distribution at Paul's Pantry, a community-supported grocery store offering free groceries to families in the Green Bay area. The partnership between Sargento and the Packers has been ongoing for 22 seasons, with Sargento donating $2,000 for each touchdown scored by the Packers during the regular season. These funds are divided between Paul's Pantry in Green Bay and Hunger Task Force in Milwaukee.

Craig Robbins, executive director of Paul's Pantry, expressed gratitude: "Paul's Pantry is honored to partner with two organizations that are synonymous with Wisconsin: the Green Bay Packers and Sargento." He emphasized the importance of volunteer efforts alongside financial contributions.

Since its inception in 2002, Touchdowns for Hunger™ has raised over $1.85 million, translating into more than one million meals provided to those in need across Wisconsin.

Matt King, CEO of Hunger Task Force, acknowledged the long-standing support: "Hunger Task Force is grateful for the more than 20 years of financial support we've received from Sargento through the Touchdowns for Hunger Program."

With 21 touchdowns so far this season, an additional $42,000 will be directed toward hunger relief efforts in Wisconsin.

Louie Gentine, 3rd Generation CEO of Sargento Foods, reflected on their enduring collaboration: "When Sargento partnered with the Packers 22 seasons ago for 'Touchdowns for Hunger,' we started a tradition that raises awareness of hunger in Wisconsin while celebrating our home team and our community."

Sargento Foods remains committed to community service as a family-owned business founded in Plymouth, Wisconsin. Similarly, Paul's Pantry operates entirely on community donations without government funding. Meanwhile, Hunger Task Force continues its mission as Milwaukee's Free & Local food bank and advocate against hunger statewide.
