The Green Bay Packers have announced the signing of long snapper Matt Orzech, while releasing defensive lineman Jonathan Ford. This announcement was made by General Manager Brian Gutekunst on Wednesday.

Matt Orzech, standing at 6-foot-3 and weighing 245 pounds, is in his fifth year as a professional player. He has been responsible for snapping duties with the Packers since the beginning of the 2023 season. Throughout his career, Orzech has participated in 74 regular-season games across different teams, including the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2019, Los Angeles Rams from 2021 to 2022, and currently with the Packers since last year. Additionally, he has played in six postseason games with both the Rams in 2021 and the Packers in 2023.
