The Green Bay Packers and Network Health honored U.S. Air Force veterans Kendall and Harrison Anderson during Sunday's game against the Detroit Lions as part of 'Operation Fan Mail.' This program, now in its 18th season, recognizes military families and veterans at each Packers home game.

Kendall and Harrison met while serving as medics at Ramstein Air Base in Germany. Harrison was part of the en route patient staging team, caring for critically injured soldiers from combat zones in the Middle East and Africa. Kendall served as a liaison officer, coordinating care for wounded warriors before their transfer to the United States. She also worked as a surgical technician for service members and civilians needing critical surgeries.

In August 2021, they were involved in Operation Allies Refuge, assisting injured U.S. service members and Afghan civilians evacuated from Kabul to Germany.

Watching Packers games provided comfort to the Andersons while overseas, offering a sense of home amidst challenges. Their shared love for NFL teams helped them bond with patients.

After completing their service obligations in 2023—Harrison after seven years and Kendall after six—the couple settled in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. They attended Sunday's game with family members including Kendall's mother Alison and Harrison's father Tyson. Notably, Kendall's great-grandfather Judge Robert J. Parins was the Packers' first full-time president from 1982-89.

Operation Fan Mail began in 2007 to honor active duty military personnel or veterans along with their families. Recognized families receive four tickets to a game courtesy of Network Health and are acknowledged on-field during pregame activities. Over 212 families have been honored over the past 17 seasons.

Families interested in being recognized can submit an essay of up to 500 words explaining why they should be saluted this season. Essays can be sent by mail or submitted online through packers.com/Lambeau-field/operation-fan-mail.
