The Green Bay Public Works Department has announced the temporary closure of the Ray Nitschke Memorial Bridge for maintenance. The bridge, located at Mile 1.58 over the Fox River in Green Bay, Wisconsin, will be closed to both vehicles and pedestrians on Thursday, November 21, 2024. The closure is scheduled from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Traffic will be affected east of the Fox River on Main Street at North Washington Street and west of the river on Dousman Street at North Broadway. A detour route will direct traffic via North Broadway, East Walnut Street, and North Monroe Avenue.

The department assures that access to residences and businesses will remain available during this period. They caution that all closures, detours, and work operations are subject to change. Motorists should anticipate potential delays and are advised to consider alternate routes.
