Beginning Friday, November 22, 2024, the Adams Street Parking Lot will close permanently due to an approved building development on the site. The last day for public parking at this location is Thursday, November 21, 2024. On the following day, the Green Bay Department of Public Works (DPW) will begin removing pay stations, lights, and other hardware from the lot. The developer will then start construction.

The Adams Street Lot was built around 1980 during the expansion of Port Plaza Mall to include a large department store with direct access to the lot. Since its inception, it has been managed by the Green Bay Parking Division and has served as a popular public parking facility in downtown Green Bay.

Starting November 22, those who previously parked in Adams Street Lot will need to find alternative parking options such as nearby ramps or on-street meters.
