The Green Bay Packers have made changes to their practice squad by signing offensive lineman Michael Jordan and releasing tackle Spencer Rolland. The announcement was made on Monday by General Manager Brian Gutekunst.
Michael Jordan, a 6-foot-6, 315-pound player in his fifth year out of Ohio State, returns to the Packers after spending almost all of the previous season with their practice squad. Over his career from 2019 to 2024, Jordan has participated in 67 regular-season games and started in 40 of them. Initially drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals in the fourth round (136th overall) of the 2019 NFL Draft, he spent two seasons with them before moving to the Carolina Panthers for two years (2021-22). This season, he was mostly with the New England Patriots, playing in 12 games and starting in 11. During his college career at Ohio State, he received first-team All-America honors from SI.com and second-team recognition from the Walter Camp Football Foundation in 2018. With his return to Green Bay, Jordan will be wearing jersey number 70.
