Packers adjust practice squad roster ahead of upcoming games

The Green Bay Packers have made changes to their practice squad, signing running back Deshaun Fenwick and placing Ellis Merriweather on the injured list. The announcement was made by General Manager Brian Gutekunst.

Deshaun Fenwick, standing at 6-foot-1 and weighing 223 pounds, is a rookie from Oregon State. He initially joined the New England Patriots as an undrafted free agent on May 10, 2024. During his college career, Fenwick spent three seasons each at the University of South Carolina and Oregon State. Over 50 collegiate games, he accumulated 2,039 rushing yards on 385 attempts with an average of 5.3 yards per carry and scored 18 touchdowns. Additionally, he caught 31 passes for 213 yards with an average of 6.9 yards per catch and two touchdowns. Fenwick will be wearing jersey number 35 for the Packers.
