The Green Bay Packers have announced that 'Project Play 60' will take place on Saturday, February 15. This event is aimed at encouraging children to engage in non-strenuous physical activities. It will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Lambeau Field Atrium, utilizing both the main floor and the Legends Club on the fourth floor.
Activities planned for the day include inflatables, interactive games, a ninja course, gymnastics circuit, climbing walls, pickleball, and face painting. Additionally, Bellin Health certified instructors will conduct 10-minute mindful yoga sessions designed to teach children mindfulness and yoga techniques.
Safety protocols require participants to wear socks and athletic shoes. Parents or guardians must sign waivers before participation; these can be completed in advance online at packers.com/projectplay60.
In support of the Help the Homeless Hygiene Drive, attendees are encouraged to bring hygiene items such as laundry soap, dish soap, toilet paper, diapers (sizes 3-6), shampoo, conditioner, body wash, shaving cream, deodorant, hand soap, garbage bags, disinfecting cleaners and kitchen trash bags.
Parking is complimentary for those attending Project Play 60. Guests should enter through the American Family Insurance Gate located on the east side of Lambeau Field.
Project Play 60 is part of Green Bay Packers Give Back initiative which encompasses various community outreach efforts including youth football programs and Make-A-Wish visits.
