There were 4,943 students enrolled in Shawano County school districts in the 2023-24 school year, 1.2% less than the previous year, according to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

The county's data showed that 11th grade had the biggest classes with 440 students, while second grade saw the smallest enrollment that year with just 304 students.

Countywide, Shawano School District welcomed the most students during the 2023-24 school year.
