The Green Bay Packers have announced the re-signing of kicker Brandon McManus. The news was confirmed by General Manager Brian Gutekunst on Wednesday.

Brandon McManus, standing at 6-foot-3 and weighing 201 pounds, is a seasoned player entering his twelfth year in the NFL. He joined the Packers as a free agent on October 16, 2024, and played in 11 games during the previous season. During this time, he achieved a field-goal percentage of 95.2% (20 out of 21), which was the second-best single-season record in team history for players with a minimum of one attempt per game. Among Green Bay kickers with over 20 attempts in a season, McManus led with this impressive mark. Additionally, he maintained a perfect extra-point percentage (100%, converting all 30 attempts) and became the first kicker in NFL history to secure game-winning field goals as time expired in both of his initial two games with a new team—one against Houston and another at Jacksonville.

McManus began his professional career in the NFL back in 2013 when he signed with the Indianapolis Colts as an undrafted free agent. In 2014, he spent some time with the New York Giants before being traded to the Denver Broncos later that year. He remained with Denver for nine seasons until 2022 before playing for the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2023. Since joining the league, McManus ranks third among active players for field goals made (273), points scored (1,161), field goals from beyond fifty yards (48), and extra-point percentage (97.4%, making 342 out of 351).
