The deadline for submitting nominations for the "Packers Protect & Serve Award" is fast approaching, with March 14 set as the final date. This award honors law enforcement officers in Wisconsin who have demonstrated exceptional service and commitment to their communities.
Eligible nominees are active law enforcement officers, either full or part-time, who show leadership and dedication. They should be individuals who have exhibited heroism or extraordinary commitment to public safety and community welfare.
Nominations can be made in one of four categories: Individual Officer Award, K-9 Award, School Resource Officer Award, or Department Award. A total of fifteen awards will be distributed: twelve for individual officers and one each for the other three categories.
The award is funded by the Packers and the NFL Foundation. Each recipient will receive a $2,000 grant to support their department or a nonprofit organization they are involved with.
Submissions are accepted online until March 14, 2025, at packers.formstack.com/forms/packers_protect_and_serve_award_2025. Additional information is available through the Packers' community outreach department at 920-569-7500.
The Packers Protect & Serve Award is part of Green Bay Packers Give Back, a broad community outreach initiative by the Packers. Alongside other charitable activities by the Green Bay Packers, these awards contribute to a charity impact that exceeded $13 million last year.
