The City of Green Bay and On Broadway, Inc. are preparing for the Draft City Music Fest, a free event scheduled for April 23, 2025, at Leicht Park. The festival offers a blend of live music and family activities. It starts at 4:00 p.m. and ends at 11:00 p.m.

This year's festival features new playground elements in the Kids Zone, courtesy of a donation from BCI Burke/Lee Recreation. "Supporting the Kids Zone aligns with our mission to create spaces where kids, families, and communities can play, explore, and thrive together," stated Mike Phelan, President and CEO of BCI Burke.

Attendees can enjoy performances from various artists, including The Chocolateers, Grupo Kn Zavor, Luke Combs UK, Riverboat Gamblers, and De La Soul. Additional attractions include bounce houses, face painting, balloon animals, and the TDS Glow Zone. Festival Foods will present fireworks around 8:30 p.m., and food trucks, local artists, and a beer garden will be available.

Mike Phelan recognized the contributions of the Green Bay Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department and Lee Recreation in creating the playspace. The festival coincides with the NFL Draft, adding to the city's festive atmosphere.

Remarks at the event will include representatives from BCI Burke/Lee Recreation, Mayor Eric Genrich, and Brian Johnson, Executive Director of On Broadway, Inc. Video opportunities of the event's setup will also be available.

For more information, the press conference will take place on April 22 at 11:00 a.m. at Leicht Park.
