The City of Green Bay's Department of Public Works has initiated its annual curbside yard and garden waste collection for the spring season. Residents are reminded not to place yard waste at the curb during the NFL Draft week, scheduled from April 21 to April 26, 2025. The department will redirect its collection crews to assist with operations connected to the NFL Draft event.

Residents are advised to refrain from placing yard waste on the curb between April 19 and April 26, 2025. Normal waste collection will resume following this period. Those who disregard the guidelines and leave waste out for collection during these dates may incur a collection fee.

The city offers alternative options for residents wishing to dispose of yard waste themselves. Two drop-off centers are available daily, except holidays, from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. until Thanksgiving Day. Locations include 2530 East Shore Drive on the east side and 1470 Hurlbut Street on the west side.
