Former Packers to join NFL Draft festivities in Green Bay

Seven former Green Bay Packers players are scheduled to be present at the 2025 NFL Draft in Green Bay, participating in events on Thursday and Friday nights. The NFL disclosed that former Packers Mason Crosby, Ahman Green, James Jones, Clay Matthews, and Jordy Nelson will assist Commissioner Roger Goodell in officially commencing the first round of the draft on Thursday night.

Additionally, Pro Football Hall of Famers, Jerry Kramer and Dave Robinson, who played during the Vince Lombardi era, will be among those announcing picks in the second and third rounds on Friday night. Jordy Nelson is also expected to announce a selection.

Several other NFL legends with connections to Wisconsin, through either birth or attending the University of Wisconsin, are also anticipated to be present. This includes Hall of Fame offensive tackle Joe Thomas and Alec Ingold, a Green Bay-area native.
