The Green Bay Packers and USA Football have collaborated to provide spring grants to youth football organizations across Wisconsin. These grants aim to support grassroots programs, fostering community engagement and nurturing future athletes.
USA Football, the National Governing Body for American football in the United States, administers these grant programs with backing from the NFL Foundation. The initiative aligns with the Packers' ongoing commitment to grassroots football by providing new equipment and resources based on merit and need.
Several Wisconsin youth football programs have been selected as recipients of the 2025 USA Football spring grant. These include Prospect University Sports in Milwaukee, Milwaukee Juggernauts Football Corporation, MKE Buccaneers, Mauston Youth Football, Chippewa Falls Youth Football, Southside Raiders Youth Football & Cheerleading in Madison, Poynette Panthers Youth Football, St. Francis Xavier Football in Cross Plains, Beaver Dam Youth Football Inc., Fox Valley Pop Warner Football in Appleton, Baraboo Youth Football in Baraboo, Columbus Football Organization in Columbus, Waupaca Youth Football Organization in Waupaca, and Hornet Football Summer Camps Inc. (Richland Center Youth Football) in Richland Center.
Scott Hallenbeck, CEO of USA Football stated: "We're grateful for the support the Packers continue to provide USA Football and the grassroots programs and communities that make football America's favorite sport." He added that USA Football is enthusiastic about awarding these spring grants to facilitate learning through football for young athletes.
Nationally, over 808 youth sports organizations received approximately $340,000 worth of new youth football equipment through USA Football's spring grant program. The organization is also promoting flag football by distributing more than 16,000 flag belts and 2,800 footballs to enhance or initiate flag football offerings.

Since its inception in 2006, USA Football has awarded over $21 million in grants benefiting athletes across more than 14,000 programs nationwide. In 2024 alone, approximately $1.1 million was distributed through its grant initiatives.
USA Football serves as the National Governing Body for American football within the U.S., representing it internationally through the International Federation of American Football (IFAF).
