During the week of July 7-11, 2025, residents of Green Bay will have the opportunity to dispose of up to four 32-gallon plastic bags of overflow household trash at no additional cost. This service is available for those whose city-issued trash carts are full. The overflow bags must be placed next to the cart by 6 a.m. on the designated collection day.

If more than four bags or other items are left for collection, they will still be picked up but will incur a charge. Items that will not be collected include construction waste, electronics, appliances, and move-out debris. If these items are left curbside, charges will apply.

Residents can bring bulk household items to specified drop-off sites in Green Bay; however, construction and demolition waste is not accepted at these locations. Proof of residency in Green Bay is required.

The east side location is at 1820 Mills Street with entrance on Deckner Ave., while the west side location is at 519 S. Oneida Street with entrance on Redwood Dr. off W. Mason St. Operating hours are Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., and the second and third Saturday each month from 7 a.m. to noon.

Alternatively, residents can take their waste including construction materials to the Brown County Transfer Station located at 3734 W. Mason Street where dumping fees apply and safety attire may be required.

For further details or inquiries, residents can contact the Department of Public Works – Operations Division during office hours or visit their website or Facebook page.
