The City of Green Bay has partnered with the Tarlton Theatre and Green Bay Neighborhoods to launch "Grooves on the Green," a summer concert series offering free live music in neighborhood parks. The five-concert series begins on Friday, July 25, 2025, at Olde Preble Park with Alley Cat & The Purrrfection.

The schedule for the concerts is as follows:

- July 25: Alley Cat & The Purrrfection at Olde Preble Park

- August 8: Troy Heinz & The 57's at Perkins Park

- August 22: Banda Los Locales at Farlin Park

- September 5: Zoomie & The Soniks at He-Nis-Ra Park

- September 19: Dale Anderson of The Delta Jets at Colburn Park

The concert series will feature a variety of regional talent including rock, Americana, and Latin music. This initiative aims to support local artists and enhance community engagement while celebrating Green Bay's musical heritage.

Green Bay Neighborhoods is involved in this project as part of its mission to improve city life by empowering citizens through neighborhood associations. These events will also serve as opportunities for recruitment and activation within these associations.

Concerts are free and open to families. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs for seating, and food trucks will be available on-site. The goal is to make use of underutilized park spaces and strengthen community ties across different neighborhoods in Green Bay.

For more information about Grooves on the Green, contact Michael Bergman, Communications Director for the City of Green Bay, or Tarl Knight from The Tarlton Theatre.
