Rep. Tony Wied, who represents Wisconsin’s 8th Congressional District, shared a series of updates on August 20, 2025, highlighting his recent legislative actions and community engagements.

In a post made at 00:13 UTC, Wied expressed support for Rep. Tiffany's bill and the U.S. Department of Agriculture's (USDA) decision, stating: "Proud to have co-sponsored Rep. Tiffany's bill and I'm thankful for his leadership on this issue. The USDA made the absolute right decision. I will always stand with our great farmers."

Later that day, at 21:05 UTC, Wied described his participation in a local law enforcement event: "I enjoyed spending time with the Brown County Sheriff’s Office at their open house and charity fundraiser event. It was a great opportunity for the community to come together and show appreciation for the men and women who work tirelessly every day to keep us safe."

At 21:47 UTC on August 20, Wied reported meeting Deputy SBA Administrator Bill Briggs during a visit to Northeast Wisconsin businesses: "It was a pleasure to welcome Deputy SBA Administrator Bill Briggs to #WI08 and show him some of the incredible businesses we have driving our economy in Northeast Wisconsin. Thanks to our One Big Beautiful Bill, these businesses will continue to thrive for years to come."

Wied has represented Wisconsin’s 8th Congressional District since defeating Kristin Lyerly in the 2024 general election by securing approximately 57% of the vote.
