"Now is the Time to Rise" is the theme for the 2024 Convocation on Wednesday, August 28 at 10 a.m. at The Weidner on the UW-Green Bay campus. At the event, Chancellor Michael Alexander, along with Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Kate Burns and Universities of Wisconsin President Jay Rothman will address faculty and staff from the four UW-Green Bay campuses. Additionally, the event will honor recipients of the University’s Founders Awards, given to faculty and staff for their contributions within the previous year. Universities of Wisconsin President Jay Rothman will also assist in presenting these awards.

It offers 200 academic degrees, programs, and certificates across four campus locations in Northeast Wisconsin. Since its opening in 1965, UW-Green Bay has championed bold thinking and remains committed to its access mission.
