UW-Green Bay announces Phlash Dash 5K Run/Walk to support student scholarships

Green Bay, WI — The UW-Green Bay Phlash Dash 5K Run/Walk invites alumni, students, faculty, staff, and friends of the University to participate in a walk/run event aimed at supporting student scholarships and success. The event is scheduled for Sunday, October 6, 2024, at the Kress Event Center on the UW-Green Bay campus.

Registration and check-in will begin at 8:00 a.m., with the run/walk starting at 9:00 a.m. Early bird registration fees are $15 for UWGB students and children under 18 years of age and $25 for adults if registered by September 26, 2024. After this date, fees increase to $20 for students and children under 18 years of age and $30 for adults.

Participants registering on the day of the race may not receive a UWGB mug. All participants must complete and sign an event waiver available online.

The Phlash Dash is described as a fun, non-competitive event open to all members of the UWGB community. Attendees are encouraged to wear their favorite UW-Green Bay gear.

Volunteers are also needed for the event. Current students, staff, or faculty interested in volunteering can sign up online. Community members can volunteer by contacting Brian Rammer, Director of Alumni Relations at rammerb@uwgb.edu or by calling 920-465-2226.
