The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay Sheboygan Campus is hosting the Lakeshore Talent Development Forum today in collaboration with the Bay Area Workforce Development Board. The event aims to address workforce development needs in Manitowoc and Sheboygan Counties, focusing on strategies for talent recruitment and retention.
Scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Phoenix Room, the forum features Matt Kures, Community Economic Development Specialist for UW-Extension, as the keynote speaker. Kures will discuss demographic changes, workforce trends, and economic shifts impacting the lakeshore region while exploring solutions for future workforce challenges.
Attendees will also participate in a panel discussion and community dialogue featuring representatives from Kitchen Fresh Foods, AmeriCollect, and Pine River Pre-Pak.
