Green Bay Area Public School District has announced a collaboration with the Brown County Library and the Boys & Girls Club to host community forums and screenings of "Screenagers" to discuss the effects of the digital age. The announcement was made in a press release.

According to the press release, these events will include screenings of "Screenagers: Growing Up in the Digital Age" and "Screenagers: Elementary School Age Edition," followed by discussions on managing screen time and fostering healthy digital habits. The screenings aim to help families navigate challenges related to technology use and equip them with strategies to support their children in maintaining balance.

The screenings will be held across multiple locations, starting with "Screenagers: Growing Up in the Digital Age" at Edison Middle School on April 1 and West High School on April 2. The Elementary School Age Edition will be shown at the West Side Boys & Girls Club on April 9, the Brown County Library on April 12, and the East Side Boys & Girls Club on April 15. Some events will provide meals and child care, ensuring accessibility for families. Spanish captions will be available for all showings.

These events are open to the entire community, with no prior registration required. Attendees will have the opportunity to view the films, gain valuable insights, and participate in discussions aimed at promoting responsible technology use among children. Families can learn practical approaches to minimizing screen-related risks.
