Students, faculty, and staff at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay are actively participating in preparations for the upcoming Draft event. The university community is engaging in various educational and creative activities in anticipation of this significant occasion. This participation is highlighted through a list of initiatives and events, collectively referred to as "Draft-Ready."

The university's Continuing Education and Workforce Training program offers an "Exceptional Customer Experience Certificate" to undergraduate students free of charge. The course, developed with Kohler, Festival Foods, and Prevea, aims to prepare students for work in the service industry during the Draft season.

Additionally, the "Packer & the Draft" three-course series is available to approximately 100 global attendees, including participants from the USA, United Kingdom, Ireland, and Australia. The Wisconsin Caregiver Academy has introduced programs in assisted living and long-term care facilities, incorporating the same course, with 75 additional participants.

Certificates in the history of the Green Bay Packers and the "Packers Return to Glory" program will be offered once again in Spring 2026 and this fall, respectively.

The Student Engagement Center at UW-Green Bay is actively promoting the registration for the draft experience via NFL.com, offering free registration and detailed event information. Students are also encouraged to volunteer for community service initiatives such as the AmeriCorps Earth Day: Draft Edition event on April 22 at Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary.

Another notable activity includes free entertainment events like the Draft City Music Fest, which will feature two events on April 23 and April 26 at Leicht Park. In terms of campus-based activities, students are offered opportunities to engage in a Karaoke Kraze event and a Murder Mystery dinner.

Student involvement extends to working with national news outlets and assisting with security and event management alongside UW-Green Bay athletes. Additionally, the Phoenix Juggling Club will collaborate with the Green Bay Juggling Club for a juggling demonstration on April 25.

A partnership with Delaware North enables the university to provide housing for additional service staff involved in the event. Eric Sampson of Delaware North expressed gratitude for the university's support, emphasizing the importance of creativity and collaboration in making the Draft successful.

UW-Green Bay serves over 11,000 students across four campuses in Northeast Wisconsin, offering a wide range of educational opportunities. The university emphasizes bold, innovative thinking, positioning itself as Wisconsin's fastest-growing university.
