Algoma School District Education: 623 students were enrolled in schools in 2024-25 school year

There were 623 students enrolled in Algoma School District in the 2024-25 school year, 2.7% less than the previous year, according to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2024-25 school year, 53% identified themselves as boys, 47% as girls.

Data also shows that most of the students were white, accounting for 86% of the Algoma School District total enrollment.

Algoma School District covers three schools within Kewaunee County, with its main office in Algoma.

Among the three schools in the district, Algoma Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of 301 students in the 2024-25 school year.

Wisconsin had a student-to-teacher ratio of 14-to-1 in 2025, lower than the national average of 16-to-1, according to Public School Review.
