The Green Bay Area Public School District has announced that the Universities of Wisconsin will conduct multiple virtual walkthrough sessions in March for grade 12 students and their families. This announcement was made on the district's website.

According to the Green Bay Area Public School District, the Universities of Wisconsin will host a Direct Admit Form Walkthrough on Wednesday, March 12, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. This webinar aims to guide students through the Admissions Portal, demonstrating how to submit Direct Admit Forms and apply for traditional admission for the Fall 2025 term.

A Traditional Application Walkthrough is scheduled for Tuesday, March 11, 2025, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. During this live session, students will learn how to create an account and complete the application process for admission as first-year students for Fall 2025. Additionally, a UW Journey Walkthrough will be offered to explore the Universities of Wisconsin and assist students in finding their best fit using the UW Journey app tool.

The Universities of Wisconsin system includes 13 campuses across the state, serving over 164,000 students and awarding nearly 37,000 degrees annually. With an annual budget of $7.98 billion and $1 billion in state funding, it generates an economic impact exceeding $24 billion each year. Nearly 90% of graduates remain in Wisconsin five years after earning their degrees. The universities offer a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs, including doctoral and professional degrees.

The Green Bay Area Public School District is located in Northeast Wisconsin and is the fourth largest public school district in the state. It serves over 18,000 students across 39 schools. Founded in 1856, it encompasses communities such as Allouez, Ledgeview, Bellevue, Green Bay, and Scott. The district provides various educational pathways to meet student needs and has a rich history that includes a century-old football rivalry between East and West high schools as well as City Stadium—the original home field for the Green Bay Packers.
