Due to the upcoming NFL Draft activities scheduled from April 21-26, 2025, the City of Green Bay's Department of Public Works has announced a temporary change in garbage and recycling collection days. The department anticipates that regular collection on the west side Thursday and Friday routes will be challenging because of their proximity to the draft events.

To address this, the city will switch Thursday and Friday collection routes with Monday and Tuesday routes for that week only. This adjustment affects both the east and west sides of Green Bay to maintain consistency.

The department emphasizes that after the week of April 21-25, 2025, garbage and recycling services will return to their normal schedule. They express gratitude for residents' understanding during this temporary change.
