There were 549 students enrolled in Gillett School District in the 2024-25 school year, 4% less than the previous year, according to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2024-25 school year, 57.7% identified themselves as boys, 42.3% as girls.

Data also shows that most of the students were white, accounting for 78.9% of the Gillett School District total enrollment.

Gillett School District covers three schools within Oconto County, with its main office in Gillett.

Among the three schools in the district, Gillett Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of 277 students in the 2024-25 school year.

Wisconsin had a student-to-teacher ratio of 14-to-1 in 2025, lower than the national average of 16-to-1, according to Public School Review.
