There were 866 students enrolled in Kewaunee School District in the 2024-25 school year, 1.8% less than the previous year, according to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2024-25 school year, 51.2% identified themselves as girls, 48.8% as boys.

Data also shows that most of the students were white, accounting for 84.4% of the Kewaunee School District total enrollment.

Kewaunee School District covers four schools within Kewaunee County, with its main office in Kewaunee.

Among the four schools in the district, Kewaunee Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of 392 students in the 2024-25 school year.

Wisconsin ranks 22nd in the U.S. for public education spending, with an annual expenditure of over $16,500 per pupil, totaling $13.8 billion per year.
